QUICK TIP: Use a disposable plastic grocery bag, when putting foot through pant leg. To start, put wet muddy shoe/foot in bag. Now slide foot through pant leg to wear. Result: NO mud or water inside pant leg and shoe spikes don't get caught on inside fabric. Remove bag and save for next time.  Works in reverse just as well, to keep the mud and water out of pant legs !   Your Welcome !
